Artist's Mission Statement

I like to create functional pots made with attention to detail. Thus I would not consider myself a production potter. I want my pottery to offer a more intimate experience to the user.

My output is limited and I prefer to work in small sets (3 – 12 pieces per setting). Form, functionality and color have to go hand-in-hand, allowing a piece to speak for itself or in conjunction with food, flowers, etc. No pieces are ever identical. This is intentional. This diversity sets them apart from ordinary, mass-produced ceramics. My pots are hand-made – small wonders of arts and crafts made for enjoyment and individual use.

My pottery is dishwasher- and microwave-safe. The pottery may be used in any situation in which one would use commercial pottery.
